Zurich, Switzerland – The Swiss-Vietnamese Economic Forum (SVEF) is pleased to announce its highly anticipated event in 2024, under the theme “Strengthening ties, building the future”. The forum, co-organized by the Swiss-Vietnamese Economic Forum (SVEF), the Embassy of Vietnam in Switzerland and the Master’s Program in Business Management Europe and Asia at the University of Zurich, with the support of the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce (SAAC), the Association of Vietnamese Intellectuals and Professionals in Switzerland (AVIES) and Keep It Beautiful Vietnam (KIBV), will take place on 4 June 2024 at the University of Zurich. The event marks the joint efforts to strengthen economic relations between Switzerland and Vietnam, and lays the foundation for sustainable cooperation and development between the two countries.   The Swiss-Vietnamese Economic Forum 2024 promises to be an opportunity to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries through important dialogues between government representatives from both countries, including the presence of Vietnamese Ambassador to Switzerland Phung The Long, Swiss Ambassador to Vietnam Thomas Gass, former German Vice Chancellor, President of the Swiss-Vietnamese Economic Forum Dr. Philipp Rösler, former Swiss Ambassador to Vietnam, Vice President of the Swiss-Vietnamese Economic Forum Mr. Ivo Sieber, representatives of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam, the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce, Economiesuisse and many leading businesses from both countries.

Discussions on the above topics are expected to promote initiatives and policies to strengthen economic relations and mutual benefits, and create investment cooperation opportunities between organizations, businesses and investors from both countries.
