The Swiss-Viet Economic Forum (SVEF) 2025 in Da Nang is co-organized by the Da Nang People’s Committee, The Embassy of Switzerland in Viet Nam and the Swiss-Viet Economic Forum Organization. It focuses on strengthening bilateral relations and advancing cooperation in foreign investment, digital transformation, and sustainable development between Switzerland, Vietnam, and global partners.
The Swiss–Viet Economic Forum (SVEF) 2025 – Da Nang Edition, themed “Innovative Partnerships for Sustainable Growth,” was successfully held from 3 to 5 November 2025 in Da Nang, Viet Nam. Building on the momentum of the SVEF Zurich Forum in June 2025, this Da Nang edition expanded dialogue on investment, innovation, financial services, provincial partnerships, and sustainable development, reinforcing long-term cooperation between Switzerland and Viet Nam.
Over the three-day program, SVEF 2025 Da Nang convened more than 300 delegates and over 70 speakers, featuring four plenary sessions, four thematic parallel sessions, a sustainable tourism roundtable, and a technology-focused workshop, alongside high-level B2B and B2G engagements and on-site industry visits across Da Nang’s key innovation and economic hubs. Participants included senior representatives from Switzerland, Viet Nam, and international partners, ministers and embassies, provincial governors and city leaders, executives from corporations, financial institutions, technology firms, SMEs, as well as representatives from development agencies, chambers of commerce, universities, and startup ecosystems.
Day One marked the official kick-off of SVEF 2025 Da Nang with a high-level leaders’ meeting among the three co-organizers: the Da Nang People’s Committee, the Embassy of Switzerland in Viet Nam, and the Swiss–Viet Economic Forum (SVEF). The meeting reaffirmed a shared commitment to strengthening cooperation in trade, innovation, and sustainable growth. The day concluded with a welcome reception hosted by H.E. Ambassador Thomas Gass and the Embassy of Switzerland in Viet Nam, co-hosted by the Swiss Business Association, bringing together government representatives, business leaders, and ecosystem partners from Switzerland, Viet Nam, and beyond.

Day Two, the main forum day, featured high-level policy dialogue and sector-focused discussions. The program included online participation from H.E. Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang (MOFA) and remarks from H.E. Helene Budliger Artieda, State Secretary of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs. Senior representatives from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Science and Technology, the State Bank of Viet Nam, along with leaders from Swiss, Vietnamese, and international associations and enterprises, contributed to discussions on international trade integration, international financial center development, fintech and digital finance, healthcare, education and human capital, innovation, AI and digital governance, startup and investment collaboration, sustainable tourism, and IT outsourcing.

Day Three focused on investment dialogue and on-the-ground engagement in Da Nang. A roundtable discussion chaired by Mr. Ho Ky Minh, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City, brought together leaders from key city departments and the Swiss and international delegation led by Dr. Philipp Rösler, President of SVEF. Discussions centered on Da Nang’s investment opportunities, updated legal frameworks for foreign investors, and the city’s roadmap toward International Financial Centers, Free Trade Zones, and Innovation Parks. The program continued with site visits to UAC Vietnam, a high-tech aerospace manufacturing facility under Montana Aerospace, and Da Nang Software Park No. 2, showcasing the city’s growing ecosystem in AI, semiconductors, and digital innovation.
