Vinh Luu (Richard) (FCIArb, FSIArb) is Founder and Managing Partner of Asia Legal, a business law firm in Vietnam, with strong expertise and in-depth knowledge of Vietnam’s political culture and legal developments. Vinh Luu has been leading Asia Legal since 2017, providing local and international clients with quality advice and consultancy services in a wide range of practice areas, such as M&A, capital markets, inward investment, mining & energy, real estate, employment & labor, and dispute resolution. He has also been listed as an Accredited Mediator and Arbitrator in a number of local and foreign arbitration centres.

Vinh is Fellow of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), Fellow of Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (Singapore), and Arbitrator of Shanghai Arbitration Commission (China), Dubai International Arbitration Center (Dubai), Beihai Arbitration Commission/ Beihai Court of International Arbitration (China), Vietnam – China International Trade Arbitration (Vietnam). He is an Accredited Mediator of Center for Effective Dispute Resolution (UK), and Vietnam International Commercial Mediation Center, (Vietnam), and a Visiting Lecturer of Judicial Academy of Vietnam, a body established under the Ministry of Justice to provide professional training for judges, lawyers, bailiffs, notaries, and other officials in Vietnam. 

In addition, he is an active member of leading international associations for legal practitioners, including International Bar Association (IBA), Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA), International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), and American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

Vinh holds an LLM in International Trade and Economic Law from University of the West of England (UK).
