Dr Linh Nguyen has been trained as a pulmonologist and public health specialist. He obtained Master of Science in public health at the University of London and PhD in medicine at the University of Sydney. Linh is experienced in tuberculosis (TB) and public health research, development of evidence-based health policy and guidance, and provision of support to different countries on the implementation of health programmes. Linh used to work in Vietnam as a clinician and a medical officer for National TB Programme, and in the South Pacific Region as a WHO technical advisor on TB and leprosy. He is currently working as a medical officer on TB treatment and care at the Global Tuberculosis Programme, World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.
