55 Years of Trust – A Journey of Connection

Fifty-five years. More than half a century of trust, mutual understanding, and enduring friendship between Switzerland and Viet Nam.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1971, our two nations have built an increasingly strong partnership, bridging geographical distances and embracing opportunities across generations. This journey is marked not only by diplomatic, economic, and cultural achievements, but also by the people, encounters, and meaningful connections that have brought us closer together.

This commemorative publication invites us to reflect on remarkable milestones, celebrate the bonds we have built, and honour the generations of leaders, partners, businesses, organizations, and individuals who have contributed to the story of Swiss–Vietnamese friendship.

As we celebrate 55 years of diplomatic relations, the Swiss-Viet Economic Forum (SVEF) extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone whose trust, collaboration, and continued support have helped strengthen the ties between our nations.
